It will provide a better reference for rod sizes, amperage settings, and better info on plasma cutter air pressures.The print is so small I have to use a mag glass to read.

First, note that I only received one of the MIG calculators, even though the photo on the listing shows two.Aside from this discrepancy between the photo and the offering, what was received is in good condition, new, and covers all of the calculators needed to get started with MIG (GMAW), TIG (GTAW), and stick (SMAW) arc welding. These calculators are easy to use to set up the welding machine, and easy to store with the machine for repeated reference. They don’t require batteries nor put your smartphone near the hot molten metal, so are much more convenient than more “modern” methods of reference. While it also helps to consult the charts on the consumables for MIG and stick, these calculators help to understand a lot of variables that go into selecting your operating point.Well worth every penny. Just don’t be upset if you only get one of each, because it might be worth getting several sets.

With some of the AMPs for stick welding, specifically, it seems a little high. However, welding has to do with preference as well as standards. I'm still in school, learning, so I'll be using this to try and assist with my welds.

Good info to help a beginner

Overall the chart/calculator worked decent. I have used it a few times and it gives a suitable range to set your welder at, given certain factors listed on the chart/calculator. I would recommend for people that don't weld often enough to have the settings memorized or if you weld a lot of different thickness metals.

Incluye la tabla de TIG, MIG, Flux core y Stick.Trae para acero al carbon, inoxidable y aluminio.Sirven muy bien para referencia sobre todo si tienes diferentes soldadoras y en sistema ingles o métrico.Claro que con el tiempo te aprendes los valores que mas usas, pero no esta de mas tenerlo a la mano para cuando se necesita o para principiantes o ayudantes.
