SoundBuffer

Purchased flooring from a national retailer. Their comparable underlayment was twice the price on sale. Further, it used shredded car tires as the cushion. Not impressed, so they asked what we were going to use (under the premise that the flooring warranty required an adequate underlayment). I shared the web view of Soundbuffer Underlayment. They read the product specs and said it met warranty requirements. They also said they could not match pricing (or come close). End of story. Our installation went smoothly and the product seems to be as advertised. I would buy it again.

Just used this underlayment for our floors, and I was impressed as to its quality and ease of installment. I would highly recommend this product to anyone, who is going to re-do their floors with the "click together" vinyl tiles!

The price is great, easy application, Great, don’t know yet how the sound buffer works but if I don’t hear a broom handle from neighbor below I will be thrilled, super great!

New orders arrived on boxes and had no damage. Rolls are wrinkle free and lays down perfectly. I tape it without any overlap and it is perfect for 2nd floor house carpet to wood floor replacement.

I installed this under a 3.3mm vinyl plank on a wooden floor . The product does it job. The floor is solid and no cracking noise when I walk.

Would def purchase again.

I love that it is thin and feels good underneath my luxury vinyl tile, but product holds water like a sponge. Had a leak from a window, and the entire water wicked into the entire underlayer, and mopping did not help as well. Had to rip up my entire gym floor to get it dry properly. Wrote to customer service, and have resceived no response to date.
