y Movie'follows what happens when a group of none-too-bright teenagers are stalked by a ed killer who wants them dead because of their involvement in a car accident that happened last Halloween. The kids are also being stalked by a television news reporter determined to get the story. One by one, the young friends are dispatched in a grisly and ridiculous fashion. 'y Movie 2' shifts the focus away from slasher pics to films about the supernatural, and follows what happens when the students from the first film are hired to investigate a series of strange occurrences in an old mansion named Hell House. Cindy, Ray, Shorty, and Brendan all turn up at the appointed hour, ready to take on all the ghosts and spooks the house has to offer. But when their professor is killed, the students find themselves trapped in the house with phantoms far more bizarre than any they had imagined. In ''y Movie 3' (2003), Cindy has become a TV news reporter out to find a hard-hitting news story. She soon uncovers all kinds of mysterious threats including crop circles, alien invasion and a killer videotape that is somehow linked to the death of her best friend Brenda. Finally, in 'y Movie 4' (2006), Cindy has taken up a job as a house caretaker for a nice old lady that is said to be cursed. Cindy moves right in and the house is located right next to Tom Ryan (Craig Bierko), a down-on-his-luck her. Cindy soon discovers a dreaded secret about the house and she is comforted by Tom who is watching his children for the weekend. As soon as the two become more then just friends, a huge storm rolls on in and hits the town. Tom discovers a giant hole in the ground and an alien Tripod emerges from its depths. Meanwhile, Cindy finds the soul of a tortured boy living inside the house who tells her he knows the secret on how to defeat the aliens. But before he gives it too her, he vanishes. The only way to figure out the mystery is to find the boy's her.
