A Must-Read for Traders!
Brian Shannon's "Technical Analysis Using Multiple Timeframes" is a must read for anyone serious about improving their trading skills. As a long-time trader, I've read countless books on technical analysis, but this one stands out for its practical, no- nonsense approach. Shannon's expertise shines through as he breaks down complex concepts into easily digestible information. The book's focus on multiple timeframe analysis provides a comprehensive framework for understanding market dynamics and identifying high- probability trade setups. Key strengths of this book include: 1. Clear explanations of how to use price action and multiple timeframes to confirm trends 2. In depth and easy to understand description of the psychology of how price is represented on a chart. 3. Insightful discussion on short selling and short squeezes. 4. Constant reminders of risk management and strategies for doing so What sets this book apart is Shannon's ability to tie everything together into a cohesive trading approach. He doesn't just explain individual concepts but shows how they work together in real market conditions. The numerous chart examples and case studies bring the concepts to life, making it easy to apply the strategies to your trading. Shannon's writing style is engaging and accessible, making even complex topics easy to grasp. Whether you're a novice trader or a seasoned professional, this book offers insights that can elevate your trading game. It's become an indispensable reference in my trading library, and I find myself returning to it regularly to refine my strategies. If you're serious about mastering technical analysis and improving your trading results, this book is an absolute must-read.

Essential for any trader's library!!
I wish I had this book when I started trading in 2020! It would have saved me a lot of frustration and money in those earlier days. To the non-trader and the new trader alike; the market seems elusive, purely a game of luck, and price charts look like gibberish. Brian Shannon's book brings clarity and understanding to the markets and provides a trading framework for any new trader. 1. The book is organized so that each chapter builds upon the previous one. 2. The text is large and easy to read. 3. The vocabulary used is easy to understand. You won't need a Master's degree to comprehend what you are reading. 4. The book comes with additional resources (mine did): an infographic poster on market structure, mindset concepts, and a bookmark. 5. Using multiple timeframes allows a trader to discern higher probability trades and the ability to trade from the short term to the long term. 6. An entire trading course for less than $100

Amazing book. Great insights. Would highly recommend, even for seasoned traders.
Amazing. Brian really dives into each of the 4 distinct phases of trading a stock, how to spot each phase, and what to expect during each phase. It's basically stock trading, for the lay person, meaning he'll blatantly stay, "When XYZ happens (with the price action/volume/VWAP, etc.), institutional investors will do "A", retail investors will do "B", people who might be Short will do "C" ", etc., By breaking down how the markets work, all of the players in the market, and what each players' motivations / psychology / emotions are/might be, you get a really good idea of the "Big Picture," and can then better wrap your mind around WHO, is going to do WHAT, WHEN and WHY. By introducing you to a broader viewpoint of the market and the players, it's as if you're able to finally see all of the pieces on the Chess Board, and, thus, are able to better strategize, instead of just thinking about your next "reactive" move. Instead, you're put in a better understanding / mindset to be more Proactive (and less Reactive). Would highly recommend.

Highly Recommend
I've been actively practicing the methods and strategies Brian clearly lays out in this book for some time now and have seen drastic improvements in my trading execution. I initially found Brian on YouTube via an interview with Evan from TheTradeRisk and found his approach on being a risk manager first and trader second to resonant with me and my trading mentality. That approach coupled with his objective analysis using AVWAP in multiple time frames led me down the rabbit hole of watching every video I could find with him on his trading strategies. I watched and studied them repeatedly. After spending a week of testing out the methods and strategies I gathered from the videos, I knew, without a doubt, that implementing his multi-time frame approach and objective AVWAP analysis into my trading would be a game changer. So, I invested in both his books. "Technical Analysis using Multiple Timeframes" and his latest book "Maximum Trading Gains with Anchored VWAP". The books were better than I expected. Well written and put together with tons of examples. His trading philosophy is inline with mine as I mentioned in regards to risk and his multi timeframe approach with AVWAP analysis provides me with the objective information I need to make educated trading decisions. Purchasing his books and studying his lectures and interviews has been the best money and time I've invested into trading stocks. I'd highly recommend both his books and studying his lectures/interviews as well. Like anything in life, it's not a one size fits all but if you're a risk adverse technical kind of person, there's a good chance these books will be a good fit for you.

Good book
Its a good book to read for beginners haven't finished it yet but lots of knowledge in it. Only disappointment is that i must have gotten the top book in the box because there's a cut on the cover of the book from a razor blade

Although I have been involved in the stock market for many years it has always been in a more passive investing capacity. I am beginning to embrace technical analysis as a means to take a more proactive part in my wealth management. This book did a fantastic job of illustrating the value that technical analysis can bring. I especially appreciated the ability to relate it to longer and shorter timeframes, and to use timeframes that are both longer and shorter than your expected holding period to assist with entries and risk management after the trade. I liked the books format and writing style and I appreciated the colour charts which made it easy to pick up on what was being shown in a relatable way to the trading screen. Definitely recommend this book especially for anyone new to technical analysis.

This book is a must read for the beginner. Saying that I wouldn't recommend it as a first read because you will most likely misinterpret many things and won't prioritise relevant information. You need to have some basic understanding of markets and a bit of trading experience to appreciate it. Mature traders may find this book too basic for its cost. Content includes information about stages of market and how to see them on different timeframes, entry - exit principles and risk management. This book does not have a trading system set up as such but instead outlines some major points which can help you to develop one. Risk management chapter is fairly basic in my opinion and there isn't much about position sizing, which cannot be underestimated. Overall, I would recommend this book for a beginner to intermediate level. It is expensive but worth the money.
