Long Boho Skirts for Women - Bohemian Hippie Maxi Summer Skirt

I love the brilliant colors and patterns in this lightweight Bohemian style skirt! It is just as it appears in the photograph. This isn't always the case when shopping online. I was concerned that the rayon fabric might not breathe like silk or cotton, but I am very favorably impressed. It performs great in my Arizona heat. The slightest breeze sends the skirt billowing around you-so refreshing! I think the extra care this skirt requires by hand-washing is repaid in all the compliments you will receive from complete strangers! It dries quickly outdoors in the sunshine. I wish I had ordered the Plus size instead of One as the fabric does shrink even with TLC. It is snug but still wearable, just not as comfy as their harem pants, which I will keep in mind when re-ordering. Hi! I am editing this review at least 4 or 5 years after the fact: It's amazing to me how well this fabric has held up. I am still wearing the skirts I originally purchased all those seasons ago!!! Despite being lightweight, these skirts hold up to being laundered in a machine on cold and dried in low or medium heat. I wear these skirts OFTEN! They are so COMFORTABLE! AND THEY ARE JUST AS BEAUTIFUL AS WHEN I PURCHASED THEM. I'm a gal who likes to get a bang out of her buck - these skirts from Joob Joob fit the bill. AND, they are still in style! I still get compliments regularly from strangers, too. I am EXTREMELY PLEASED with my purchases. I ordered a different pattern and colorsthis time. They offer LARGER sizes now. I got a Plus. I weigh about 140 lbs with wide hips and thighs. These are so flattering to my figure!!! I have a Belly dancer's body. Trust me all styles do not flatter my figure. I have made a commitment to handwashing my new skirt and drying in the sunshine. The colors do bleed a little bit the first few times it is washed, but not enough to loose their vibrancy. They also shrink a bit, even with handwashing. Because the stirring around the pelvic area is so generous, it will still fit. Also, if you yo-yo with your weight, they also fit. I even think pregnant women could wear them until the last trimester when worn as a skirt. During the last trimester it could be worn as a dress. The uneven hem wouldn't look odd when a woman is heavily pregnant. I think Joob Joob should consider showing photos of pregnant women wearing these versatile garments. It might cater to a demographic that doesn't offer many fashionable choices. If the elastic doesn't get too stretched out, it could be put to use again when the woman's body returns to normal! I just received this skirt and I am very pleasantly surprised by the colors I ordered the green; it is bright and true to the picture) and the fit. For reference, I am 5’3” tall and weigh 115 pounds. I purchased the S-M size and it fits perfectly. Apologies for the wrinkles in the photo, but I wanted to share how it looks because I always find that helpful, especially when I see someone similar to my own size in the clothing. I think this skirt is absolutely worth the price (about $27). The material quality is lightweight but not cheap-looking, and the style is both comfortable and flattering. I’m ordering another!

Just received my skirt in green. Lovely, vibrant colors. It really does work as a dress, too! However, the fabric is pretty sheer. I’ll have to wear a slip underneath. That’s the reason I give it 4 out of 5 stars.

I just got a few of these skirt/dresses and I would put them in my top 5 of great finds on Amazon! I’m 5’1” and 135lbs, 32D. I hate wearing a bra. I bought some tanks with sewn in bra cups and they go perfectly with these as skirts. But the dress options! First, the stretchy ruched “top” of the dress is a great length hitting just above my pouch of a tummy then flowing into the skirt. The ties can be tied in front or back for a cute strapless look, up and behind the neck as shown in images, crossed in front behind neck. It’s thin but quality cotton fabric. The stitching at the bottom is pretty simple and I do foresee it fraying if you drag it on the ground. The darker colors are not see through (you can see shapes if a light is behind you, but not the color or coverage of panties). I can’t speak on the lighter colors. It’s breezy and breathable. I’ve found my summer uniform! I do wish they had some more “modern” patterns but I’m ok looking like a boho hippy.

I'm gonna be honest, transitioning to working at home for the last 15 months of the pandemic has not been kind to my waistline. I have put on 18 pounds and most of my work clothes are really uncomfortable now that things are opening back up! Working in PJ pants, with your kitchen just steps away can take its toll on an undisciplined person such as myself. I ordered one skirt just to try because it was inexpensive and offered free returns. It is so comfortable and fits nicely! It's as relaxing to wear as my PJ pants, but acceptable for work. And it looks great too. I've already ordered two more in different colors so I have work options while I take the next several months to do some extra sit-ups and get back in shape! The skirt has an elastic waist and the wrap-around tie thing, so even when (if) I get back to my usual size it will still fit nicely. Drapes well, very flattering. (adding: the sheerness question I didn't know how to answer. The skirt is lightweight but opaque. Not too sheer or something I need to wear a slip under)

Loved the versatile design (can wear as a dress or skirt) and it fits well, but it arrived flawed. I had purchased it for an upcoming trip & didn’t notice the imperfection until we were already on vacation. There is a section where the threads have pulled up & the dye did not cover. So, essentially there is a white spot. By the time I found this, it was already past the return window. Very disappointed as I really do like the skirt.

I bought this skirt in three of the patterned material when they were on special sale a week ago, and they are so beautiful! They pair so nicely with a solid color fitted tee! I don't notice that they are see through, but I wear a pair of the slip shorts/pettipants underneath, just to keep from having inner thigh "chub rub." Although they state to hand wash, I just turned them inside out, and machine washed in a light/gentle cycle, then shook them out and hung them to dry. The fabric is marvelous when dry; cool, smooth and flowing. I bought the L/XL size, am 5'10", and 190#. Very very pleased!

Great light material, vibrant colours. For me it works better as a skirt rather than a dress, but would be very versatile if needing to travel light.
